New Mini-Kits on Sale and This Week's Freebie!

I have uploaded seven mini-kits to my SAS store. These products are in the Bargain Bin and are even reduced 10% for a limited time, so hurry and grab them while they are extra cheap! I made a few layouts using these kits this week. This first one is a photo of my dad and grandmother - not sure of the year (early 1960's?). I used Mother's Brunch, which is one of my favorites because I just love this color combination:

Here's my son David when he was only 6 months old. I used Wish Upon a Star for this layout. Isn't he adorable?

This last example is a heritage layout of my mother, great-grandmother, and aunt - photo taken in 1941. I used Peaceful Thanks:

New Kits and a Freebie!

The other new kit I have out this week is actually a mini-kit called Birthday Fun. It's available here at SAS and will soon be at DSO as well. My birthday month is July but I'm getting this out early because I'll be on vacation and well, I just want to. :)

It's bright and playful and is even a great mini for those summertime ice-cream layouts.

Phew, We Did It!

Well, it's DONE... got my two seniors graduated from high school and we threw not one but two big parties this week. We had a dinner party after graduation on Thursday and another barbecue on Saturday for the friends and family who couldn't make the middle-of-the-week celebration. It was a really nice ceremony and thankfully held indoors (air-conditioned!) at the Memorial Auditorium. My son David was in all three of the musical performances... two on his trumpet and one on the upright bass. Here are a couple of photos taken right after the commencement. The tall grad in the middle is my stepson, Justin, and the other grad is my son, David.



I got tagged twice this week, once by Luisa and once by Candee, and I'm just now getting a chance to play along. Here we go!

1. I met my husband online. In August we'll celebrate our 8 year anniversary.

2. I have more "guy" than "girly" tendancies (i.e., I don't like to shop, I'm very analytical, and I'd much rather buy more electronic toys than jewelry...).

3. I have played the piano since I was about 9 years old.

4. I don't like heights.

5. My first love was Donny Osmond.

6. I enjoy solitude (maybe because my household is usually so busy...) and am perfectly comfortable being alone.
