Happy Wednesday!

Wow, November is a really busy time for our family. Not only is there Thanksgiving to plan for, but two of my boys have November birthdays. We had a big party for them last weekend. One turned 15 (the youngest kid) and the other turned 18 - the day after our election, in fact. When he realized sometime last year that he would miss getting to vote in the election by ONE day, he was not happy, and even called me from school to complain. Who knew my kid would turn out to be so civic-minded?

I have a new kit called Musical Memories in my SAS store. It's on sale at 30% off - only $3.85 for the entire kit!

This is a great collection for all your musical layouts - everything from your children's recitals to music festivals to karaoke night. It includes 18 papers 10 instrument accents (piano, acoustic guitar, electric guitar, violin, bow, trumpet, clarinet, saxophone, trombone, and trumpet), 1 microphone accent, 1 curled 12" border, 1 musical staff accent, 3 bows, 1 button, 4 frames, 1 badge/frame, 1 journal mat cluster, 2 rose accents, 1 rose bouquet, 2 wraps, 1 lace trim, 1 word art, 1 tag, and 1 full alpha set (upper and lower cases, numbers, and commonly used punctuation).

I made this layout using Musical Memories with one of my favorite photos of David:

This week's freebie is a final sampler from my One Autumn Evening kit. This kit is also on sale for only $3.58 - a 35% savings!

Thanks for the extra elements to this great kit Darlene!

Turing 18 the day after the election in a presidential election year is pretty bad! I turned 18 the July before the 1984 election and yeah, I was pretty excited abut it! I made sure I was at the Michigan Secretary of State office first thing on Monday morning (I turned 18 on a Sunday) to register as soon as I could so I was sure I'd get to vote. I completely understand how much of a letdown that must have been!

My youngest son got to vote for the first time this year. It's too bad your son missed it by a day, but there will be other elections and it's good he is interested in politics. Thanks so much for the cute goodies! :)
